Why moss?
Mosses were the first plants that managed to survive on solid ground and for millions of years have continued to adapt and thrive. They contribute positively to their environment absorbing vast amounts of water so preventing erosion of soil. They have many uses from bandages during war time to prevent blood loss and soothe infection to the heating in houses. They can thrive where no other plants can and while they may live on trees they don’t live off them. Mosses are the epitome of resilience.
